To improve the health and well-being of the over 50s, Craig Lambourne, Customer Services Manager at Tesco presented the Watford African Caribbean Association with a cheque in the sum of £1,000 at their newly refreshed store, Watford Extra.
Watford African Caribbean Association Trustee, Benson Obasogie said “Since 1976, the Watford African Caribbean Association has been committed to improving the health and well-being of the community. This generous Tesco Community Award Is most welcome and will help us invest in equipment and deliver chair-based exercise, Pilates, Yoga and Tai-Chi to the older generation.”
Olga Payne, 86, thanked Tesco for their support and said “Exercise is good for my joints, mobility, flexibility and it makes me happy. I feel lost without it.”
